Why do some stories not appear on the globe?

Earth News Atlas shows public news and historical records that can be associated with a place. Items without usable location context may be filtered out so the map stays readable.

Why does the first launch take time?

The app reads server cache and local history on startup. Cache hits are usually faster. When the network is unavailable, some cached content may still be available.

Content and sources

Earth News Atlas displays public news and historical-event leads. Content rights remain with the original publishers or data providers. The app organizes records by place, time, and topic, and detail pages preserve source names and original-link context where available.

Report an issue

If you run into crashes, content-loading problems, incorrect locations, or display issues, please include your device model, system version, and steps to reproduce.

Privacy and local data

Favorites and browsing history are stored locally on your device. You can clear browsing history in the app, and uninstalling the app removes local data.
